About the Team The Advanced Analytics & Process Innovation team at Walmart Connect drives operational excellence across Operations and Client Services by combining process mining, AI-driven automation, and internal tools. We uncover inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and enable scalable, data-informed service delivery for Walmart’s 100K+ advertisers. About the Role As a Process Mining Manager, you’ll use data science and process intelligence to analyze, optimize, and transform critical operational processes. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams across Operations, Client Services, and Product/Tech to identify improvement opportunities, design solutions, and measure their impact. Responsibilities
- Execute and support the process mining roadmap across Operations and Client Services, from data ingestion to insight generation and action planning.
- Analyze large-scale operational event logs to identify inefficiencies, process deviations, and automation opportunities.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Product, and Ops Tech teams to operationalize insights through automation, workflow redesign, or internal tooling enhancements.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and KPIs to monitor process health, throughput, and business impact.
- Translate analytical insights into actionable business recommendations and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Process Excellence and Automation teams to develop repeatable frameworks and templates for process discovery and improvement.
- Contribute to change management and enablement materials to support adoption of new tools or redesigned processes.
- Maintain documentation of process models, best practices, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging process mining technologies and trends in process intelligence, automation, and AI.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in process improvement, analytics, or operational excellence within a data-driven or technology environment.
- Experience using process mining platforms (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, Apromore, etc.) to identify and quantify process optimization opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis tool (Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business, analytics, and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Business Analytics.
- Experience in digital operations, ad tech, or enterprise-scale service organizations.
- Familiarity with automation technologies (RPA, workflow automation) and API-driven integration.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in agile environments with iterative delivery cycles.
- Knowledge of operational KPIs and metrics relevant to service delivery and client operations.
