Lead Technical Program Manager

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Corporate Technology's Portfolio Governance and Execution Management, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Here you will support the delivery lifecycle of funded initiatives both in an advisory capacity and hands-on oversight of the most critical, high-risk Corporate Technology programs. The nature of the programs currently falling within the teams’ remit spans new business initiatives, strategic technology implementations and Regulatory-driven initiatives. The team is expanding in order to satisfy the business, technology and regulatory demand emerging globally.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
- Work in a challenging yet rewarding environment delivering a first class product within Corporate Technology
- E njoy creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and be responsible for partnering with stakeholders across Corporate Technology, and other lines of business to ensure critical deliveries meet the firm’s exacting delivery expectations.
- Be someone who is execution focused with strong communication and engagement skills.
- Be someone who is structured and methodical, with experience introducing standards and defined processes for project and program execution.
- Take pride in introducing unambiguous, thorough reporting to the organization, satisfying the needs of all recipients regardless of level.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations
- Strong motivation and drive for execution whilst building and maintaining solid relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels. Ability to articulate complex ideas, plans and issues to different audiences.
- Experience of delivering, or contributing to the delivery of, effective technology change projects/programs
- Experience of working within a structured project/program delivery approach or of implementing a structured project/program delivery approach within a team or broader organization
- Proven ability to support a team in driving a project or program from initiation through to closure
- Understanding of both waterfall and agile techniques
- Proven ability to leverage your network to drive effective delivery
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Any applicable certifications, such as PMP, are a bonus
