We are looking for a dedicated Recruiter to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying top talent, conducting interviews, and ensuring a seamless hiring process to meet organizational needs. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives.
Responsibilities:• Conduct thorough searches for candidates with relevant experience using databases, networking platforms, cold calling, media outlets, and employee referrals.
• Interview applicants to gather information about their work experience, training, education, and job-related skills.
• Create and maintain accurate employment records, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Communicate with potential candidates about operations, benefits, and career opportunities within the organization.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate pipelines and streamline recruitment processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates to ensure positive engagement throughout the hiring process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices to enhance hiring strategies.
• Support onboarding processes and ensure new hires have access to necessary resources and information.
• Assist in developing recruitment metrics and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of hiring efforts.• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of hiring policies, procedures, and legal compliance related to recruitment.
• Familiarity with personnel recruitment, selection, and training principles.
• Knowledge of business and management concepts, including strategic planning and organizational operations.
• Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent training is required.
• 0-2 years of recruitment experience preferred.
