Information Technology Specialist

Vineland Developmental Center, a NJ State facility located in beautiful Cumberland County is seeking an Information Technology Specialist with database knowledge to provide support at our Developmental Center.

Functional Position:

This position provides technical support for MS Office 2016 and 2024, MS Visual Basic and, advanced level support for MS Access to first and second level users. Performs diverse helpdesk duties; installs and updates hardware/software, resolve system problems for end user, resolve communication network problems, code modification, testing, and debugging of program modules in an online environment. Install new computer and printer for new employees. Create forms in Adobe Readers.

Prospective candidates will have an Associate's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and 1 year experience: in at least one of the following areas: the design and preparation of programs for electronic data processing utilizing current operating systems, modification of systems software and multiprogramming technology; or the development, maintenance, or installation of application programs; or in performing technical support functions within a direct access device environment, or the development, implementation, and maintenance of multi-network, multi-user Local Area Networks (LAN), Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN), and/or Wide Area Networks (WAN) environment.
