Job Title: PLC/Control Systems Engineer - (Hybrid-out in the field)

Primary Skills: design, develop, program, field commissioning exp., technical documents-P&IDs, technical specs., industrial communications, PLC Ladder Logic, Tags & Scripts.

Location: Newark, NJ (Local candidates preferred to work out in the field everyday. Non-local candidates must commit to relocation from Day 1.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintain systems of electrical and automated controls for machines, processes, sub-stations, and railroad control center.

Note - Fully Onsite on the field (no exceptions). Local candidates preferred. Non-Local candidates must commit to relocation from Day 1.

  Required Skills
• - Overall IT experience: Required. 5 + yrs.
• - Education: Bachelors degree or technical study. Highly desired.
• - Certifications:
• - Effective communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Required.
• - Experience in design, development, programming, and field commissioning experience. Required. 5 + yrs.
• - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents including P&IDs, sequence of operations, technical specifications, etc. Required. 5 + yrs.
• - Experience with industrial communications protocol, such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP, serial comms (RS-485, RS-232, and CAN) and A. Required. 5 + yrs.
• - PLC Ladder Logic, Tags and Scripts. Required. 5 + yrs.
• - Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Required. 5 + yrs.
  Education :
• Bachelor's degree in information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
