LPN (part-time) 11-7 Assisted Living
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. The LPN works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Director of Nursing to ensure residents receive quality care while maintaining their dignity, independence, and well-being. Benefits
Paid lunch time and meals are provided free of charge
Vacation, Holiday and Sick Pay. Unused sick pay is paid out annually up to four days, the rest is banked for future needs.

- Provide direct nursing care to residents including treatments, medication administration, and monitoring of resident conditions.
- Accurately document nursing care, treatments, and resident responses in the medical record.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings to the RN, physician, and/or nursing leadership as appropriate.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Participate in resident assessments and care planning.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as appropriate.
- Ensure that residents receive proper care including assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies.
- Maintain infection control standards and follow safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, and resident care procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift residents or equipment as necessary.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Work Environment
- Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care setting.
- May require weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Must be at least 21 years of age
