An evening shift pharmacist role is available at a closed-door long-term care facility in the Camden, NJ area. This direct hire position offers a fast-paced environment ideal for pharmacists who thrive under volume and efficiency demands, dispensing approximately 600 prescriptions daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and final medication reviews using the Frameworks software system (training provided)
- Perform thorough final medication checks to ensure accuracy and safety
- Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians in daily operations
- Accurately dispense medications following regulatory standards
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 pm to 2:30 am
- Rotating every other weekend
- Weekend shifts either 11:00 am to 9:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday
Qualifications:
- Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license required
- Proven pharmacy experience required, preferably in high-volume settings
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus; however, comprehensive training will be provided
- Strong leadership qualities to manage technicians and ensure seamless workflow
