Role Summary

• Senior Software Engineering Tech Lead supporting Fixed Income Investment Operations platform modernization. Focus is building and integrating core operational systems across back and middle office.

• This is platform and heavy integration.

Positioning Guidance

• This is a strategic platform modernization role, not a reporting or BI expansion. Strong opportunity to expand footprint beyond analytics into core engineering and integration work within Fixed Income tech stack.

Core Tech Stac

• Python, Java, SQL
• Cloud: Azure and AWS
• Data integrations with external vendors including BlackRock Aladdin
• Power BI exposure helpful but secondary
• Some AI and automation exposure desired (pragmatic use cases only)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end delivery of ops technology solutions
• Build and integrate investment operations platforms
• Own vendor and internal system integrations
• Work closely with business and product teams
• Mentor engineers and drive execution discipline
• Support automation and selective AI driven efficiency initiatives

Must Have Profile

• 8+ years software engineering experience
• Strong fixed income or capital markets domain experience required
• Hands on backend engineering (Python or Java)
• Experience with data integrations and complex financial systems
• Proven tech lead experience, not just senior IC
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Comfortable working onsite in enterprise environment

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $180 K to $195 K per year
