Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships with your client
• Provide companionship in a warm, welcoming, encouraging tone
• Provide assistance with ADLs (bathing, toileting, dressing), meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and linen changes
• Ensure safety and supervision of your client
• For drivers, be willing to drive and accompany clients to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping and errands

Candidate requirements:

• Must have an active New Jersey HHA certification
• Must be fully vaccinated (and boosted if eligible) against COVID-19
• Two (2) forms of ID: Driver's License, Social Security card, etc.
• Step 1 PPD (within 12 months), QuantiFERON (within 12 months) or chest X-ray
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• For drivers: Valid driver's license, your own reliable automobile, proof of registration & auto insurance
• Must be reliable, compassionate, flexible and a team player
• 1+ year of prior experience as a caregiver, preferred but not required
