ASE-Certified Automotive Education Specialist

What you’ll teach

• Hands-on Automotive Technology in a fully outfitted, climate-controlled facility.
• Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum—from fundamentals to advanced systems.
• Shop safety, regulatory compliance, and professional best practices.

How you’ll make an impact

• Guide students through practical exercises and real-vehicle diagnostics.
• Track performance, communicate results, and personalize coaching.
• Build accountability, confidence, and job-ready habits.

Must-haves

• 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience.
• Former or current ASE certifications; G1 and A6 are required .
• High school diploma/GED.
• Strong communication and tech-savvy classroom presence.
• Teaching experience is a plus.

Your domain expertise

• Engine Performance & Drivability; Engine Repair; Engine Performance.
• Brake & Suspension Systems; Brakes.
• Transmission & Drivetrain Systems.
• Fuel Systems.
• Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting.
• Automotive Repair & Service Systems.
• ASE Automobile and Light Truck Certification Tests.

Tools you’ll work around

• Automotive Vehicles and industry-standard diagnostic/training equipment.
