Job Title: Data Entry Clerk – Human Resources Location: Newark
Duration 12+ months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hybrid Work: Eligible after training (2 days per week)
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Clerk to support the Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and is committed to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of employee and position data across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities:Accurately enter and update employee and position data into various HR systems and databases
Verify data entries for accuracy and completeness; make corrections as needed
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive HR information
Collaborate with HR team members to ensure data consistency and integrity
Assist with data management tasks and generate reports as requested
Conduct regular data quality checks and audits to ensure compliance
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data-related issues
Respond to general inquiry tickets via the ServiceNow platform
Track and document frequently asked questions (FAQs) received through inquiries
Proven experience in data entry or administrative support, preferably in HR or a related field
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Flexibility to work at either designated Newark location as needed
