Technical Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Newark, NJ (Hybrid). This role leads end‑to‑end delivery, manages cross‑functional teams, and ensures technical alignment across all project stages .

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of medium to large data migration and data platform modernization projects.

• Drive project planning, execution, sprint management, and delivery governance across onshore/offshore teams.

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, migration roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and delivery milestones.

• Coordinate closely with engineering, infrastructure, and architecture teams to ensure technical alignment and timely delivery.

• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and design gaps, and define clear mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations while enabling informed technical decision‑making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (master’s preferred).

• Minimum 10+ years of total experience, including prior hands‑on development or technical lead experience before moving into project/delivery management.

• Strong technical background in data engineering, data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modernization initiatives.

• Proven experience leading large‑scale data migrations and data platform buildouts in onshore/offshore delivery models.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
