The Role

As a Prep Cook/Dishwasher , you’re not just the person behind the scenes — you’re an integral part of the team. While you’ll handle the fundamentals of prep and cleaning, you’re also helping to build the rhythm and flow of service. You’ll prepare the kitchen for success, contribute to pre-meal discussions, and offer your perspective to help us all perform at our best.

What You’ll Do

Dishwashing & Cleanliness

• Keep our kitchen organized, clean, and ready to move at a moment’s notice. You'll make sure every dish, pot, and utensil is spotless, and the space remains pristine.
• We’re committed to the highest standards of hygiene, and you’ll help maintain that level of cleanliness across the board.
• Cleaning isn’t just a task — it’s a ritual that ensures the kitchen remains a place of inspiration, so your attention to detail matters.

Prep Work

• Prep with purpose: From chopping fresh herbs to measuring out ingredients, you'll help lay the groundwork for every dish that leaves the kitchen.
• Assist with preparing components for service — sauces, garnishes, and more — always staying one step ahead and keeping everything organized and accessible.
• In a kitchen like ours, organization is everything. You’ll help the chefs stay stocked and ready, ensuring everything is aligned for a smooth service.

Ordering and Stock Maintenance

• Keep us well-stocked: Manage our cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials, ordering and replenishing them as needed so the kitchen never misses a beat.
• Help maintain the flow of ingredients — tracking inventory, ensuring everything is rotated properly, and keeping everything fresh, organized, and easy to access.
• Think of this as your backstage pass to a well-oiled kitchen: You’ll ensure we’re always prepared and have what we need to thrive.

Contributing to Pre-Meal Meetings & Team Communication

• This is your time to speak up. Join our pre-meal meetings and contribute to the rhythm of the service. Your voice matters here, and your perspective can make a difference.
• Ask questions, share your insights, and offer suggestions — we’re all a team, and everyone’s input helps us improve.
• Stay aligned with the chefs and the rest of the kitchen team, making sure everyone knows the game plan before the first guest arrives.

Support the Team

• Provide support wherever it’s needed: Whether it’s lending a hand with a prep task or helping a teammate clean up quickly, you’re always ready to pitch in.
• Stay organized, stay ahead, and help the kitchen flow like a well-composed dish. The team depends on you to keep things running smoothly.
