Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Leave Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the school year beginning September 2 through December 10, serving Pre-K to elementary grade levels. The role requires a valid New Jersey Speech Language Pathologist license and involves working 35 hours per week in an elementary school setting located in Woodbridge, NJ. There are three openings to support diverse caseloads, with opportunities to work with students who are preschool disabled, including those with autism, and kindergarten through elementary aged children.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with educational and healthcare standards
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to students specific communication needs
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom activities
- Conducting assessments, documenting progress, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Supporting students with a range of speech and language disorders, including those in preschool special education and autism programs
Qualifications:
- Current NJ SLP license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Experience in pediatric and educational settings, including clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations in schools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
