Defense Litigation Paralegal | High-Volume Case Management

Our client is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal with strong defense‑side experience and the ability to manage cases independently. This role requires someone skilled in drafting pleadings, handling discovery, organizing large volumes of documents, and preparing accurate billing narratives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.

Requirements:

• Manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars.
• Assist with trial preparation and case strategy support.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management tools.
• Create detailed billing narratives that accurately reflect work performed.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth case progression.
• Conduct background reviews and organize large volumes of documents.
• Prepare and maintain discovery responses and document productions.
• Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation pleadings.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate billing narratives.
• Strong drafting skills (complaints, motions, discovery)
• Experience with defense‑side litigation or personal injury defense.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Associate degree in paralegal studies, legal administration, or related field preferred.
