What You’ll Do

As our Project Controller/Bookkeeper, you’ll be the financial backbone of our project teams. You’ll work closely with project managers, vendors, and leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting across multiple construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking

• Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements

• ️ Prepare and review job cost reports, change orders, and billing

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits

• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors regarding invoices and payments

• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking

• ✅ Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or project accounting, preferably in construction

• Strong understanding of job costing and financial reporting

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and construction accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Points

• Experience with Procore, Sage 300, or similar construction management tools

• Familiarity with lien waivers, AIA billing, and certified payroll
