Staff Accountant Staff Accountant

Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in accounting software and can analyze financial data to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor and analyze expenses and revenues
  • Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors
  • Utilize ERP systems such as Epicor for effective financial management
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably Epicor
  • Strong skills in Excel, including Vlookup and Pivot Tables
  • Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of GAAP and auditing processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
