The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Food Service Worker is responsible for washing pots and pans, cleaning workstations, empties trash and assists with preparation of menu items as needed. He/she will also assist with cash register duties, as needed, managing transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude

Preferred:

• Previous experience in food service or a related field
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Scheduling Requirements:

• 8:00am-4:00pm
• Monday-Friday
• Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
• Clean and maintain workstations, ensuring a hygienic environment
• Empty trash and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Complete the daily deep cleaning schedule which includes equipment, walls, and refrigerators
• Assist in the preparation of menu items as directed by the kitchen staff
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures
• Perform sanitation tasks to support food service procedures
• Report identified safety issues, such as hazardous environments or medical errors to management
• Assist with cash register duties, including processing transactions and handling cash accurately
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
