Customer Service Representative

Staff Management Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our client in Springfield, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8AM - 5PM
• Monday - Friday
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $22 - $28 / hour

Job Summary:

We are looking for a professional and proactive Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional support in a fast-paced, high call-volume environment. This role involves managing price quotes, collaborating with the sales team, and building strong client relationships while maintaining attention to detail and excellent communication.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email in a high-volume setting
• Accurately prepare, send, and manage customer price quotes
• Follow up on open quotes and identify opportunities for cross-selling
• Collaborate with the sales team to support territory growth and client retention
• Build and nurture long-term customer relationships
• Handle incoming customer inquiries with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset
• Use Microsoft Office tools to manage documentation and communications
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions
• Support the team with administrative tasks as needed
• Stay up to date with company products, pricing, and procedures

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual (English AND Spanish)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service call center environment (required)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent multitasking abilities and a high level of accuracy with math and data
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
