About the Role

We are seeking a General Labor to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor, you will be accountable for supporting daily production operations by ensuring efficient packaging, sanitation, and product handling while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd Shift
• Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Weekend Availability: Required
  

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $18

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

• Support production and packaging processes to ensure efficient workflow and product consistency
• Inspect finished goods and identify quality defects, escalating issues as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with line changeovers and product transitions to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety protocols, GMP standards, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and performance goals
• Handle, stack, and palletize products according to company specifications

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Basic understanding of English preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to work in environments with temperature changes, noise, and airborne flour dust

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or warehouse operations
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other)
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety practices
• Experience working in fast-paced production environments
