Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

Location: Brick, NJ – 08724

Weekly Pay: $2,232 (Travel), $1,908 (Local)

Schedule Options:

• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts/week

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3 x 12-hour shifts/week

Schedule Notes: Weekends and holidays required as needed; no on-call requirement.

Position Overview:
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. This role reports to the Director of Respiratory Services and shift supervisors and includes both therapeutic and diagnostic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, education, management, and diagnostic care under medical direction.

• Assist with intubation procedures and ventilator setup/maintenance.

• Collect and evaluate data to assess patients’ respiratory status and therapy needs.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and respiratory equipment usage.

• Build rapport with patients and families to support treatment goals.

• Document treatments, progress, and education in accordance with hospital standards.

• Participate in departmental initiatives and assigned projects.

• Perform physical tasks including lifting (min. 5 lbs), pushing/pulling (min. 5 lbs), and standing (min. 1 hour daily).

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Valid New Jersey license

• New Jersey Respiratory Care License – Active and in good standing

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – American Heart Association
