We are a nationally recognized defense firm is seeking a Transportation Litigation Attorney to join its growing Litigation team. The firm represents a diverse range of clients, including major logistics companies, insurers, and corporations involved in transportation and related industries.

The successful candidate will manage a dynamic caseload focused on transportation and general liability matters. This includes representing clients in complex litigation, advising on regulatory issues, and handling emerging matters within the logistics, e-commerce, and gig economy sectors. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement at either San Francisco, CA / Madison, NJ / Houston, TX / or Las Vegas, NV office locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support senior attorneys in managing a litigation caseload
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on transportation and regulatory issues
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Assist in settlement negotiations and case evaluations
• Collaborate with team members across offices on strategy and client service
• Prepare case updates and reports for client stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in the state of your office location
• 3–5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in transportation or general casualty matters
• Deposition and motion practice experience required
• Trial experience preferred
• Knowledge of trucking, logistics, or related regulations helpful
• Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary range: $165,000 – $210,000
• Discretionary bonus eligibility
