Recruiter, Talent Acquisition & Innovation

Approximate Compensation Range: $75,000.00 - $97,072.50

RWJBarnabas Health | Talent Acquisition & Innovation CoE

Recruitment experience in IT/Technology, Corporate functions, Nursing or Allied Health required.

The Recruiter will work collaboratively within the Talent Acquisition & Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) to support the full lifecycle recruitment process across the RWJBarnabas Health system. This role is vital in helping to meet hiring goals by driving recruitment strategies, building trusted relationships, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from application to offer. Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition & Innovation, the ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a closer mentality, and a passion for finding top talent in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

As a Recruiter, your day might include:

  • Building strong, diverse pipelines to fill open roles with top talent
  • Focusing on high-priority or hard-to-fill positions and tailoring your sourcing approach
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand needs and guide hiring decisions
  • Building trust-based relationships with candidates and stakeholders across the system
  • Managing the offer process with confidence and professionalism
  • Communicating clearly and promptly to ensure a great experience for everyone involved
  • Using tools, tech, and social media to attract and engage talent
  • Supporting internal employees with transfers and career growth opportunities
  • Keeping systems and reports accurate and up to date
  • Representing RWJBH at career fairs, open houses, and orientations—traveling as needed

What You’ll Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related field (master’s a plus).
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
  • Confidence using ATS platforms, CRMs, and HR systems to stay organized and drive results.
  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage several searches at once while keeping the candidate's experience front and center.
  • Flexibility to travel locally, regionally, and nationally for events and internal meetings.
