Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Therapist II in Somerville, NJ

Qualifications:

Required:

• Masters degree from an accredited school of Social Work or Counseling degree from an accredited school, PhD from an accredited college or university
• Excellent customer satisfaction skills
• Two years or more years job related clinical experience

Preferred:

• Preferred qualifications include minimum of one year of clinical experience is a mental health setting
• This position will be working with LGBTQ+ clients of the PROUD Center; knowledge of and/or experience working with LGBTQ+ population preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• NJ State licensure, LCSW, LPC is preferred, LSW, LAC is acceptable depending on experience

Scheduling Requirements

• Day Shift, 40 hours/week
• Full Time Schedule
  • Monday-Friday; 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Essential Functions:

• Provide assessment, prevention/intervention, education, treatment and discharge services to adult psychiatric patients and their families,

• The clinician will also actively participate in Department specific and hospital wide activities to ensure regulatory compliance enhance program development and quality improvement,

• Additionally the clinician will engage in community outreach, professional associations and marketing activities,
