FSS Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Technician in Gloucester City, NJ!

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Gloucester City, NJ

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

Requirements:

• Must Be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Must have QC Experience

Job Summary: This position plays a vital role in maintaining product quality in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the citrus or food industry and be comfortable performing inspections, documenting findings, and communicating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with company standards
• Document findings digitally using internal systems and inspection tools
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, operations, and management regarding defects or issues (verbally and via email)
• Be flexible and open to working in different QC areas as needed
• Report and document an array of outages, product inconsistencies, or quality concerns
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Experience:

We’re looking for individuals with prior experience in the citrus or food industry in roles such as:

• Quality Control / Quality Assurance
• Clerk
• Grader
• Packer
• Or other related positions

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and experience with digital documentation
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to stand for 90% of the shift
• Capable of lifting boxes weighing 40–50 lbs
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active work environment
