Summer Program Supervisor

Are you a passionate leader who thrives on creating meaningful experiences for young people? We’re looking for a Summer Program Supervisor to lead an engaging and inclusive summer program for high school students and college undergraduates who are blind or visually impaired.

What You’ll Do

As the Summer Program Supervisor, you will:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily program activities
• Lead and support a team of staff to ensure a positive participant experience
• Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe environment
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines and safety standards
• Collaborate with students, families, and community partners
• Support recruitment efforts and help facilitate a 3-week summer camp program

Schedule

• Flexible schedule based on program needs
• Generally aligned with typical business hours
• Availability required for recruitment activities and full participation during the 3-week camp program

Compensation

• $60,000 annual salary

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals who are blind or visually impaired
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to plan and coordinate group activities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment and ongoing drug screenings
