Chaplain Resident - Full-Time - (August 2026-September 2027) - Morristown Medical Center

Job Description

Atlantic Health is currently seeking a full-time Chaplain Resident for the Spiritual Care Department at Morristown Medical Center.

***(For 2026-2027 Chaplain Resident Program starting August 2026 to September 2027) - 5 Total Positions Open

Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position

• Responsible for 24/7 spiritual care department's onsite on-call, chaplain coverage for patients, family and staff at MMC
• Serve as dedicated chaplain on assigned nursing unit(s) including attending morning rounds
• Participate in daily activities and tasks of the spiritual care department such as departmental meetings, interfaith prayer services, and hospital wide initiatives
• Assist ACPE Certified Educator with orientation of chaplain interns
• Participate and complete requirements for 3 units of ACPE CPE, including all educational seminars.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required:

MDiv or equivalent preferred. Consideration given to students enrolled in graduate level or equivalent program.

Minimum Experience Required:

Successful completion of one unit of ACPE CPE; eligible for faith group endorsement
