Labor and Delivery RN Nights
Labor-Delivery Saint Peter‘s is among the few hospitals in the world to have earned its 7th consecutive Magnet® designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation. The Magnet with Distinction designation is an elite level of this recognition, awarded to organizations that demonstrate exceptional performance in nursing practices and patient outcomes. Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our team. The Labor and Delivery RN Nights will:
- Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
- Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
- Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
- Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
- Meticulously document all aspects of patient care
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
- BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
- BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation
- ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
- National Fetal Monitor certification obtained during clinical orientation
- Special OB course completed during clinical orientation
