We’re looking for a high-energy, outgoing Business Development Representative to become the face of Junk Rescue in the community.
This is not a desk job.
You’ll spend most of your time meeting people, visiting businesses, building relationships, attending networking events, and creating referral partnerships that generate long-term business.
If you enjoy talking to people, creating opportunities, and working independently, this could be a great fit.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $50k base
- Performance Bonuses & and Uncapped Commissions
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80k+
- Paid Travel & Expense Budget
- Paid Time Off
What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with Realtors, Property Managers, Contractors, Senior Move Managers, Storage Facilities, and other referral partners
- Make daily in-person visits to local businesses
- Conduct cold outreach and relationship-building activities
- Attend networking events, chamber meetings, and community events
- Deliver presentations and lunch-and-learns to potential referral partners
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing partners
- Track activity and opportunities in our CRM
- Collaborate with our leadership team to identify new growth opportunities

- Consistently creating new referral relationships
- Generating qualified leads and booked jobs
- Becoming a trusted resource within the local real estate and property management communities
- Building a strong network of long-term referral partners
What We’re Looking For
- Outgoing and personable personality
- Comfortable walking into businesses and starting conversations
- Previous experience in business development, outside sales, customer service, marketing, fundraising, recruiting, hospitality, or networking-related roles
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized and accountable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
