Onsite/Hybrid: Remote Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules, strong scripting and integration skills, and the ability to lead complex implementations in large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development
- Design and develop custom applications, workflows, and modules on ServiceNow.
- Implement advanced automation using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Orchestration.
- Customize ServiceNow UI using Jelly, AngularJS, and modern front-end frameworks.
- IT Service Management (ITSM): Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB.
- IT Operations Management (ITOM): Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping.
- IT Business Management (ITBM): Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management.
- Security Operations (SecOps): Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence.
- HR Service Delivery, Customer Service Management (CSM), GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance).
- Integration & APIs
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and MID Server.
- Work with APIs, web services, and integration platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), LDAP, and OAuth integrations.
- Scripting & Customization
- Create and manage Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes.
- Develop custom widgets using Service Portal and AngularJS.
- Database & Reporting
- Manage CMDB data models, relationships, and reconciliation.
- Build advanced reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
- Optimize queries and ensure data integrity across modules.
- Implement automated deployments using ServiceNow’s Update Sets and DevOps integrations.
- Work with Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Governance & Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and enterprise standards.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
Technical Expertise :
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SecOps, HRSD, CSM, GRC).
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server).
- Hands-on with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SecOps, HRSD).
- Experience with AI/ML-driven automation in ServiceNow.
- Exposure to cloud-native integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security compliance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Candidates must be eligible for new H-1B filing
