Job Summary

* The Massage Therapist administers professional massages to our guests

* Therapists must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities

and willing to train in our spa's specific massage offerings

* Therapists must possess excellent communication skills

* Maintain certifications NJ license and liability insurance current

Duties and Responsibilities

* Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to appointment

* Perform therapeutic massages within the time allotted for the service

* Provide consistent professional therapeutic massages in accordance with spa protocols

and accepted certification practices

* Effectively communicate and educate our guests with regards to specific wellness concerns

* Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered

* Actively promote spa services and products offered as well as programs or promotions available

* Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously

* Possess the ability to work without direct supervision

* Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment

* Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills

* Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality

* Must be a team player

* Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings

Education and Experience Requirements

* Must hold and maintain NJ state license

* Hold and maintain professional liability insurance

*Experience with a significant portion of experience dedicated to

the following massage modalities

* Deep Tissue

* Prenatal

* Medical

* Sports

* Therapeutic
