This is a full time temporary position with the potential to become a full time permanent position.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

Responsible for processing and reconciling incoming payments, ensuring timely and accurate application of cash receipts, and supporting the accounts receivable functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and fostering strong customer relationships through efficient and professional handling of payment transactions. This position also includes researching and issuing of credits to dealers accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and apply customer payments (checks, wire transfers, ACH) to the appropriate accounts in the accounting system.

Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve discrepancies in payments.

Monitor and follow up on unapplied or misapplied cash items.

Prepare daily cash reports and assist in monthly AR reconciliations.

Maintain accurate and up to date records of accounts receivable transactions.

Assist with month end and year end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Support audits and provide documentation as needed.

Assist with other AR and finance team duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or cash management.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast paced environment.
