Internal Medicine Physician – Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) | Lakewood, NJ

Compensation: $230,000 starting salary + productivity bonus

A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Lakewood, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join its established primary care team. This full-time outpatient position offers a predictable 4×10 schedule, competitive compensation and exceptional loan repayment eligibility through federal programs.

This is a highly collaborative role serving a diverse and underserved adult patient population.

Position Overview

The Internal Medicine Physician provides comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients (18+) within a busy community health setting. The clinic is mission-focused with strong interdisciplinary support, modern EMR systems, and translation services available for patients.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey MD or DO license

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

• Active NJ CDS and DEA licenses

• BLS for Providers (AHA)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

• Open to new graduates

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual board certification (Internal Medicine + Family Medicine or related)

• Experience in an FQHC, community health center, or underserved population

• Ability to manage higher patient volumes

• Strong EMR proficiency
