Industrial Maintenance Mechanic — Electro-Mechanical Systems

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ — 823 East Gate Drive, Unit 4

Pay: $27.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience and skills

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (Maintenance typically begins 30 minutes early for overtime)

A day in this role

You arrive a half hour early, review the maintenance schedule, and get a jump on preventive checks that keep our production moving. A line member flags a conveyor issue—within minutes you’ve diagnosed the fault using your electrical know-how, sourced a replacement part, and restored flow. You tidy the area to 5S standards, log the work, and move on to install a new piece of equipment slated for the afternoon. Your craftsmanship and attention to safety directly impact output—and the customers whose projects depend on us.

What you’ll do

• Install new equipment and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and building systems by identifying issues and repairing or replacing parts.
• Execute preventive maintenance on schedule while following all safety procedures.
• Champion 5S to improve efficiency, cleanliness, and safety across the line.
• Handle electrical wiring, pipefitting, basic welding, and light sheet-metal work as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical background preferred.
• Comfort with computers; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook a plus.
