Part-Time Pharmacist Needed
Privately Owned Retail & Compounding Pharmacy New Jersey

A well-established, independently run pharmacy with a focus on both traditional retail services and non-sterile compounding is seeking a part-time pharmacist to provide coverage during a long-term medical leave. This is a high-potential role that may lead to a permanent and/or full-time position , depending on fit and performance.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 to 4 days weekly

• Shift Length: 8 hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM (some flexibility)

• Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, plus every other Saturday

• Assignment Term: 8+ weeks, with possibility of temp-to-perm

• Support Team: 34 pharmacy technicians on duty during each shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions, primarily for non-sterile compounded medications

• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal protocols

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during daily operations

• Assist with compounding only if necessary

Candidate Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted New Jersey Pharmacist License

• At least 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting

• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is preferred but not required

• Strong recent graduates will be considered
