BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the closing of all C&I approved loans through the documentation process, including both direct and attorney loan closings. Manages the preparation of Commitment Letters, ordering of all appraisals and environmental reports, ordering of all required searches on borrowers and guarantors. Works closely with the underwriting team and the Relationship Managers to ensure all loan closing and documenting policies are followed and all required loan closing conditions are met prior to closing. Other primary responsibilities will be to manage the loan documentation system.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages the commercial loan closing process for all approved C&I loans, including performance of all required due diligence, documentation preparation, review and coordination of the closing and funding of loans.
2. Liaises with Bank attorneys to ensure timely, efficient and effective loan closings.
3. Manages the ordering of all required background checks and searches on borrowers and guarantors on approved loans.
4. Will be responsible for managing (system admin) with the bank approved loan documentation system, LaserPro.
5. Responsible for generating/producing loan documents for closings.
6. Prepares commitment letters and any necessary closing letters for all loans to the borrower and / or borrower’s attorney for Director’s or Relationship Manager’s signature.
7. Reviews all loan closings packages to ensure all loans are in compliance with Bank and departmental policies and requirements.
8. Serves as liaison with the Loan Administration Dept. on issues involving commercial loans including loan booking sheets and post-closing exceptions.
9. Tracks, manages and coordinates the receipt of all post-closing documentation and compliance with post-closing loan requirements.
10. Interacts extensively with the Bank and its Relationship Manager, compiling loan information and resolving exceptions.

Education: College Degree (or a combination of education and experience) equivalent to an undergraduate degree.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of loan documentation experience.

Ability to prepare loan documentation on a commercial loan documentation system.

Ability to manage the entire loan documentation process and manage the workload of the C&I Loan Documentation Specialist.

Excellent written/verbal communication skills required.

Proficiency with various software programs including word processing and spreadsheet applications required.

Excellent teamwork and customer service skills required.

Salary Range: $78,468-$124,007
