Location: Carteret, New Jersey
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team on a temporary basis to help manage the backlog in the office. This role involves coordinating logistics and providing customer service to ensure efficient truck loading and unloading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage truck loading and unloading, ensuring all paperwork meets corporate, customer, and governmental requirements.
- Pay close attention to detail and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Interact professionally with truck drivers, dispatchers, and customers.
- Dispatch trucks by issuing proper placards, seals, labels, material safety data sheets, bills of lading, and other necessary paperwork to meet DOT hazardous material regulations and security procedures.
- Communicate effectively with operations and administrative personnel to expedite product movements.
- Coordinate with Caleb Brett Labs & Lab Services Inc. on product analysis and specifications.
- Sort and file records, maintaining various filing systems in a neat and accurate manner, including customer orders, correspondence, and permits.
- Check and proofread customer orders and computer-generated data reports.
- Write, type, and enter information into several computer databases to prepare loading instructions for drivers, bills of lading, and other documents.
Qualifications:
- Customer service and logistics coordination experience for shipments.
- Full commitment to working variable shifts and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for formulas, worksheets, and data entry.
- Nice to Haves: Data entry experience or Logistics and scheduling delivery experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
