Position: Sr. Release Engineer (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are in search of an experienced Release Engineer (Contract) who will be a member of a software delivery infrastructure team in an enterprise setting. We are adding a critical member to a small talented team handling complex deployment pipelines.

We need someone with:

• CI/CD expertise must have proven experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant CI/CD systems using Jenkins.
• Strong ability to manage multiple Application Releases: ensure successful code delivery for applications built with Java (Spring Boot), Python across varied environments.
• Efficient in coordination and execution of rollouts across cloud platforms (AWS), container systems (OpenShift), and virtual machines.
• Ability to implement Container Workflows help design container-based build and deployment strategies leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
• Skilled with integration tools for code and dependency scanning, ensuring all releases meet internal and regulatory security standards.
• Ability to administer and tune application stacks, including Tomcat clusters and JVM-based services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can investigate & resolve complex issues - root cause analysis for complex pipeline or deployment failures across heterogeneous systems.
• Proficient in deploying to and managing AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, EKS)
• A strategic mindset and an ability to engage in technical discussions
