Salary:
$80,000–$90,000 base salary (higher for top performers or candidates with an existing book) + uncapped commission

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join a well-established advisory team serving families across Monmouth County and Somerset County, NJ. This is a highly client-facing role focused on retirement and wealth planning, working within a structured, seminar-driven environment that generates consistent, qualified client opportunities.

The firm is very well known in the local community and hosts two retirement planning seminars every week in Manalapan, NJ , including a complimentary dinner for attendees. Advisors are provided a steady flow of pre-qualified households and scheduled meetings, allowing them to focus on advising and closing business rather than prospecting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with individuals and families to develop comprehensive financial strategies (retirement, tax, estate, and wealth planning)
• Conduct follow-up consultations with seminar-generated prospects
• Participate in 2 weekly retirement planning seminars in Manalapan, NJ (including presentations and attendee engagement)
• Deliver educational presentations on financial planning topics when needed
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing advisory services
• Guide clients through implementation of financial strategies (investment accounts, insurance, estate planning coordination)
• Collaborate with internal advisors, operations staff, and business support teams
• Maintain accurate scheduling and client records using internal systems
• Provide a high level of professionalism and client-first service at all times

Qualifications:

• Active Series 7 and Series 65 or 66 required
• Life Insurance License (or willingness to obtain with firm support)
• Prior experience as a Financial Advisor or Wealth Advisor in a client-facing role
• Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to groups (seminar experience preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work within a structured advisory and lead-driven environment
