Neurosurgery Physician Assistant : JSUMC

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Inpatient Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join the growing team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. Full-Time opportunities are available. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of our expanding network. This position will support the Neurosurgeons in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, with a strong focus on surgical cases. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care. Weekends and Holidays are required. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive medical services under physician supervision, including performing patient histories and physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, managing conditions, and prescribing medication.
• Serve as a key member of the healthcare team by participating in interdisciplinary rounds, facilitating clear communication, and ensuring coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Apply evidence-based medicine to improve patient outcomes, serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other staff and students, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all clinical activities are documented accurately and adhere to all Hackensack Meridian Health policies, professional standards, and standards of behavior.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• Physician Assistant License.
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

COMPENSATION: Full Time Minimum Starting Salary: $156,603.20 HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
