Office Support Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Office Support Associate for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This role is ideal for someone with experience in office services, mailroom operations, shipping and receiving, conference room support, reception coverage, or administrative support. The Office Support Associate will help keep daily office operations running smoothly by supporting package processing, room setups, supply restocking, hospitality needs, and front desk coverage. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including processing FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and other package deliveries.- Deliver packages to SMART lockers and support outgoing FedEx shipments as needed.
- Perform daily checks of conference rooms, supply rooms, and shared spaces to ensure supplies are stocked and areas are organized.
- Assist with conference room setups, hospitality supplies, and general team support for meetings and office events.
- Provide reception coverage and complete administrative tasks such as copying, laminating, and light printing requests.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, visitors, vendors, and service partners in a fast-paced office environment. Compensation and Benefits - Pay rate: $20.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Maintain organized office spaces through supply checks, restocking, and service support. - High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in mailroom operations, shipping and receiving, conference services, office services, or a similar support role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong customer service skills with professional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities throughout the day.
- Physically able to walk, stand, and lift as part of daily responsibilities, including occasional packages over 50 lbs.
- Dependable, team-oriented, organized, and attentive to detail. Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of experience with copy services, laminating, printing support, or related document services preferred.
- Prior experience supporting reception, hospitality, facilities, or client service operations in a professional office setting.
