A leading academic hospital in New Jersey is seeking Locum Tenens Psychiatric Coverage starting August 11 through December 26,2025. This is an inpatient-based, hospital consult service focused on medically complex patients in a level 1 Trauma Center - Ideal for psychiatrists who enjoy team-based care in high-acuity settings.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (4-day workweek)
• Setting : Inpatient Psychiatry | Consultation-Liaison Service
• Patient Load: ~4 new consults + 6 follow-ups per day
• Team Based: 2 Psychiatrist share coverage daily | Clerical staff support
• Call: Absolutely none
• EMR: Epic (unified system, inpatient only)

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN)
• Active NJ Medical License
• Available for entire coverage period (Aug 11 - Dec 26, 2025)
• Prior CL Psychiatry or Hospital-based consult experience preferred
• Credentialing Takes 60 - 75 days - early applications will be prioritized
