Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Partner to join our General Liability Trial Work team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in general liability litigation, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex cases and delivering favorable outcomes for clients. This position will play a critical role in leading litigation strategies, mentoring junior attorneys, and contributing to the growth of the firm. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of general liability litigation cases from inception to trial
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Prepare and present compelling arguments in court
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions as needed
- Stay updated on legal trends and developments in general liability and related fields
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in general liability litigation
- Demonstrated success in managing complex cases and achieving favorable outcomes
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to general liability
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in construction liability, UM/UIM, product liability, commercial motor vehicle defense, or commercial liability is a plus
