A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide nursing services in a high school setting located in Newark, NJ. This contract position spans a full academic semester, beginning as soon as possible and concluding on June 26, 2026. The position requires onsite presence and direct interaction with students across the entire school building, delivering comprehensive school nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full high school caseload, addressing and supporting students health needs.
• Provide school nursing services including health assessments, emergency care, medication administration, and health education.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with all regulatory and school district requirements.
• Ensure a safe, healthy school environment and timely response to medical concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license and certifications valid in New Jersey.
• Proven experience in a school-based nursing role (clinical settings alone do not meet this requirement).
• Ability to work onsite, fulfilling all duties during school hours.
• Must pass fingerprinting clearances for both the staffing agency and the school district.
• Valid TB test and physical examination are required prior to placement.

Working Hours and Location:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week.
• Onsite in Newark, NJ.
• Single opening available.
