Sundey Home Support is a family-owned, non-medical home care agency serving seniors and adults throughout Northern New Jersey. We are hiring Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Companion Caregivers to provide in-home support that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home. This position focuses on non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance. No skilled nursing or medical procedures are provided.
Key Responsibilities Companion care, conversation, and emotional support Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting Mobility assistance and fall prevention Meal preparation and light housekeeping Medication reminders only (no administration) Errands, appointments, and community outings Safety supervision and client support Accurate visit documentation using a mobile scheduling app Communicate changes or concerns to care coordination team No medical care, injections, vitals, catheter care, or medication administration. ---
Qualifications NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) required for personal care cases Companion caregiver roles available (certification not required) Experience in home care, senior care, or caregiving preferred Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred Smartphone required for scheduling and documentation Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting Authorized to work in the United States Compassionate, dependable, and professional ---
