Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, customer-centric Boutique Retail Associate and Non-Alcoholic Mixologist to operate our physical storefront in Pitman, NJ. In this role, you will be the face of Gem Life Collective. You will guide guests through our curated selection of zero-proof spirits, serve functional botanical mocktails at our tasting bar, and manage day-to-day storefront retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• · Customer Engagement: Welcome store guests, provide tailored product recommendations, and educate the local community on the benefits of alcohol-free brands.
• · Tasting Bar Service: Prepare and serve signature non-alcoholic drinks and flight tastings to customers at our physical in-store bar.
• · Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently operate our digital checkout system, process transactions accurately, and manage store opening/closing cash drawers.
• · Merchandising and Inventory: Unpack vendor shipments, organize backstock, and curate attractive visual retail displays on the sales floor.
• · Store Maintenance: Keep the physical sales floor, tasting station, and stockroom clean, organized, and sanitary throughout the shift.

Requirements

• · Location: Ability to reliably commute to our physical retail storefront at 5 S. Broadway, Pitman, NJ.
• · Experience: At least 1 year of experience in premium retail, hospitality, customer service, or specialty food/beverage environments (such as barista, bartender, or boutique retail).
• · Communication: Exceptional conversational skills with a welcoming, positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
• · Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, or unbox retail inventory shipments up to 30 lbs.
• · Availability: Flexible weekend availability (specifically Friday afternoons and Saturdays) is a strict requirement.
