We are seeking a reliable and experienced 26-foot box truck driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining professionalism while representing the company.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly
- Plan and follow delivery routes and schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and team members regarding deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and drop-offs
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, but a plus)
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs)
- Strong time management and reliability
- Basic knowledge of local and regional routes
- DOT Medical card
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous delivery or logistics experience
- Familiarity with GPS/navigation systems and route planning
Work Environment:
- Local and/or regional routes
- Physical, hands-on role with regular lifting and movement
- Independent work with team coordination
