Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Cranbury, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM (OT and weekends as needed)
Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour

Position Overview

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to excellence? We’re seeking a Quality Control Inspector who takes pride in identifying issues others may miss, confidently communicates concerns, and ensures that every product leaving our facility meets internal standards and client specifications.

In this role, you’ll inspect components, assemblies, and finished goods—approving or rejecting items based on quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and customer requirements. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency, accuracy, and compliance across our production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and final assemblies for accuracy, label compliance, and proper packaging.

• Approve or reject products and materials based on defined quality standards.

• Conduct GMP audits and visual inspections across production lines.

• Document quality findings, inspection results, and non-conformances with precision.

• Communicate quality issues clearly to the Assembly Supervisor or Manager; recommend necessary corrective actions.

• Perform root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective measures.

• Monitor and verify incoming materials and inventory labeling; reject or accept components as needed.

• Ensure production procedures are followed in accordance with SOPs and specifications.

• Oversee and validate quality of reworked products.

• Support internal reporting such as vendor performance tracking and internal audits.

• Recommend and participate in process improvements for overall product quality.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment per company and regulatory standards.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, ideally in a production, packaging, or kitting environment.

• Background in cosmetics, health, or beauty products is strongly preferred.

• Comfortable interpreting Bills of Materials, SOPs, engineering drawings, and product specs .

• Strong understanding of GMP standards and quality assurance processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to speak up and take initiative.

• High attention to detail, especially with labels, expiration dates, and regulatory requirements .

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry systems).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs , stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced production setting.

• Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.

• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
