Our Client is looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead their safety initiatives and ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment. This role is critical to maintaining their commitment to employee well-being and regulatory excellence. You’ll oversee all aspects of safety—from OSHA compliance and training to incident investigation and budget management.
The plant is currently at 200+ employees operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week manufacturing a variety of products
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of safety leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA standards, and Workers Compensation laws.
- Proven experience in hazard recognition, incident investigation, and case management.
- Certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with plant leadership.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10 days/year).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied plant conditions (heat, cold, noise, heights, etc.).
