Information Security Analyst I

Overview: As a Information Security Analyst I , you’ll drive important information security initiatives, investigate security events, and provide expert information security guidance for projects and business initiatives throughout NFI. This role actively collaborates with and influences others to ensure information security risks are prioritized, assessed, and managed. This is a great opportunity to help shape the organization’s information security strategy. Responsibilities:

• Safeguards systems by monitoring computer networks and security tools to detect, investigate, and remediate cybersecurity breaches and other incidents.
• Communicates, implements, and maintains security policies and controls.
• Ensures security documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Provides security support and counsel to other teams.
• Proactively identifies, assesses, and designs a remediation plan for risks and vulnerabilities in the network.
• Conducts research, analysis, and correlations across a wide variety of all source data sets.
• Analyzes the current security architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement.
• Stays aware of the developing threat landscape in order to proactively adjust tools.
• Prepares status reports on security matters as needed.
• Generates reports and presentations suitable for documenting and communicating results to peers and senior leadership.
• Trains employees on network and information security technology, processes and procedures.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree strongly preferred, will consider comparable work experience.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Entry level professional with limited or no prior experience.
• Focuses on learning professional skills and role-specific knowledge through on-the-job training and experiences.

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $75,796.50 - 101,062.00. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
